The 1900 Census shows that Hans and Lina had 7 childeren and 5 were living Alfred, Thomas, Mable, Nora and Otto. The 2 that died before 1900 young or in child birth might be in Amble Cemetery. Surviving are 6 daughters Mrs.. Nora Holmburg of Coral, Mrs.. Ruth Nelson of Suttons Bay, Miss Selma and Rebecca both of Detroit, Mabel and Hazel at home; 3 sons- Thomas of Camp Custer, Otto of Comstock, and George of Amble; 2 grandchildren.
