He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn, He is survived by his son, Lloyd and Carol Whiting of Rockford; grandsons, James V. and Theressa Whiting, Lloyd V. and Dedee Whiting; 5 great grandchildren; brother Vernon Whiting of Muskegon; several cousins, nieces and nephews. As Mr. Whiting had wished cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. Interment of Cremations Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
